Caterpillar marine engine sales down in AprilPosted on
Caterpillar this week reported a continued decline in the sale of marine engines.
Sales for April, when compared to the same month of last year, were down 35 percent. The engine manufacturer also reported double-digit declines in February and March.
Sales were down in April for all segments, except for industrial, which saw a 5 percent increase compared to April 2009.
Caterpillar also reported sales declines in most regions, except for the Asian Pacific, which reported a 13 percent increase last month.
