Samson Rope settles copyright disputePosted on
Performance cordage manufacturer Samson Rope Technologies recently settled a dispute involving the unauthorized use of its copyrighted material in Singapore, the company announced.
“Samson wishes to alert the public that it keeps a vigilant watch over the worldwide market to ensure its intellectual property rights are not compromised,” the company said in a statement.
“Samson’s intellectual property rights relate not only to its proprietary rights pertaining to its products but also to collateral material, which includes catalogs, brochures, advertisements, white papers, technical bulletins, etc. Samson will not hesitate to take legal action against any third party who does not give due regard and respect to Samson’s intellectual property,” the statement reads.
Samson Rope Technologies is owned and managed by Wind River Holdings, a privately held investment company with headquarters in King of Prussia, Pa. Samson is a leading supplier of performance cordage products for the offshore marine, commercial fishing, recreational marine, safety, arborist and rigging markets.
