Sportboat builder transitions to 2011 modelsPosted on
Canadian boatbuilder Campion Marine announced today it will switch 100 percent of its production to 2011 serial numbers effective July 1.
“Inventory levels at our dealers are very clean and current and we welcome the opportunity to build for them and for new dealers, our great lineup of Allante sportboats and cruisers, Explorer sport-utility boats, Chase high-performance boats and Svfara wake and surf tow boats with 2011 serial numbers,” general manager Brock Elliott said in a statement.
For dealers outside Canada, Campion has arranged floorplan financing from Canadian export lender Northstar Trade Finance, the company said.
“In our situation, where we are looking to grow our business outside of Canada, it makes the most sense to offer potential new dealers 2011 serial-numbered boats sooner rather than later,” Elliott added.
