ABYC hosting fuel systems seminar

Posted on

The American Boat and Yacht Council is holding a webinar June 29 on “Changes to Marine Fuel Systems.”

The public is invited to join the ABYC technical department for an overview on the current status of marine fuel systems and the new government regulations affecting these systems.

The Environmental Protection Agency and the California Air Research Board have imposed requirements that will affect boats built for the 2012 model-year. ABYC, along with the National Marine Manufacturers Association, are working with industry volunteers to develop industry standards covering the installation and performance of these new systems.

The seminar will show what dealers can expect to see on the showroom and at the dock in the near future.

Registration fee for ABYC members is $49 and $99 for non-members. For registration information, call ABYC at (410) 990-4460 or contact Sandy Brown at sbrown@abycinc.org.
