Cummins MerCruiser salutes vets with fishing tourney

Posted on

Cummins MerCruiser Diesel last month helped the Anchors Away program by enabling people with disabilities to enjoy a day of competitive offshore fishing as anglers in Kings for Vets, a local charity fishing tournament benefiting veterans.

This kingfish tournament was developed to help raise awareness of the physical and non-physical challenges faced by returning veterans.

Cummins MerCruiser Diesel provided crew, equipment and its decked-out development vessel QuadZeus.com to Anchors Away and their participants.

“Thanks to the efforts of the CMD team, our participants truly experienced a dream come true,” said Dave Sewell, Anchors Away program director. “We appreciate having CMD on board helping Anchors Away achieve its mission.”
