Nautique workers aid families in GuatemalaPosted on
Earlier this week, a group of Nautique employees spent four days helping several impoverished families in Guatemala.
Outside Guatemala City, Nautique employees served a community whose homes were built on abandoned railroad tracks and provided materials and manual labor to build bunk beds from scratch.
This year’s trip to Guatemala follows three other international service trips the company’s employees have taken since 2007.
“Serving in Guatemala with the Nautique team was an incredible experience. I am very proud of the service culture that has developed at the company my grandfather founded,” said Nautique’s board chairman, Ken Meloon, who traveled with the group to Guatemala.
