Cruising workshop set for FebruaryPosted on
The Annapolis School of Seamanship will host its annual Cruiser’s Workshop Feb. 12-13 at the Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies in Linthicum, Md.
The workshop brings together presenters Ralph Naranjo, technical editor of Practical Sailor and electronics editor for Sail magazine; Lee Chesneau, former senior marine meteorologist for NOAA and owner of Lee Chesneau’s Marine Weather; and John Martino, founder and president of the Annapolis School of Seamanship.
The interactive presentations offer an in-depth look at a variety of topics important to active cruisers, as well as those considering the cruising lifestyle.
Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in an interactive demonstration aboard the maritime simulation facilities at the institute.
The Maritime Institute of Technology and Graduate Studies is one of the leading centers in full-mission ship simulation and is home to the largest full-mission ship bridge simulator in the Western Hemisphere.
