This roundup of upcoming shows and events includes news from the Greenwich (Conn.) In-Water Boat Show, the Cabo Marine Show, “Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!” and the Harbor Days Celebration and Boat Show in Illinois.
Nine of Connecticut’s top dealers are joining to host the fourth annual Greenwich In-Water Boat Show Friday through Sunday.
The event will be held at Beacon Point Marine and there is no charge to attend.
The show has expanded this year and it offers attendees the chance to dive and compare boats from leading builders.
The boat show is a collaboration of All Seasons Marine Works, Beacon Point Marine, Catalano & Sons, Diamond Marine, Harborside Yacht Sales, MarineMax, Norwest Marine, Portland Boat Works and Twin Hull Boats.
Powerboat builders represented at the show include Boston Whaler, Chaparral, Chris-Craft, Everglades, Grady-White, Glacier Bay, Hydra-Sports, Parker, Robalo, Sailfish, Sea Fox, Sea Ray, Sea Hunt, Steigercraft, Scout, Tiara and World Cat.
More than 80 boats will be on display.

The Cabo Marine Show, an international boat show and marine products and services expo in the Baja California peninsula in Mexico and the Cabo San Lucas marina, is set for April 21-23.
“We’ve had to start small,” organizer Sergio Igartua said in a statement. “Our goal over the next two to three years is to grow this event to include world-class boat manufacturers and dealers, marine accessories and services from all over Mexico and abroad.”
More than 40 local and foreign vendors are expected to take part, and more than 3,000 people are expected to attend.

“Ladies, Let’s Go Fishing!” is offering its next seminar May 20-22 in Stuart, Fla., when the program, hosted by Florida’s Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission, returns to Pirates Cove Resort & Marina.
Attendees will learn fishing techniques taught for all levels, as well as knot tying, boat handling, fly casting, trailer backing and other skills. On the last day, participants have the option of practicing their newly learned skills from inshore, offshore or a group boat, followed by a fillet demonstration.
Early seminar registration is $99 when made by May 6. Regular registration is $135. Registration includes instruction, the use of equipment, hands-on training, a networking reception, a silent auction, meals and goody bags.

The Harbor Days Celebration and Boat Show is set for Aug. 5-7 at North Point Marina in Winthrop Harbor, Ill.
The Midwest’s premier dealers will display an array of boats and top brands will be represented, including motoryachts, sport cruisers, ski boats, runabouts, pontoons and fishing boats.
Vendors will offer marina services, accessories and other items that complement the boating lifestyle.
