MarineMax debuts interactive online community

Posted on

MarineMax today introduced the MarineMax Community, a website that allows users to share their boating experiences, photos, videos and opinions, as well as access resources designed to help them maximize their enjoyment on the water.

The site is free and open to anyone who is interested in fishing, wakeboarding, yachting and all other boating activities.

“Our goal is to create a true online community where boaters, fans and friends can share their passion for the water and water-based activities,” MarineMax e-business manager Rob Bowman said in a statement. “Boating is a social activity, so it’s only natural for captains, fishermen, water-skiers, etc., to want to share what they’ve learned and talk with like-minded enthusiasts. This is the place to do it.”

Designed to be an all-inclusive interactive platform, the community enables members of any experience level and background to discuss matters related to boats and their favorite boating activities.

The community website offers clear and easy navigation, simple posting and content management, the capability of uploading images and video footage, and areas for buying and selling boating products from other members and from MarineMax.
