Bradford Marine builds containment booms in Bahamas

Posted on

Bradford Grand Bahama Ltd. is now manufacturing containment booms at its shipyard in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island.

These floating containment booms can be used for containing oil and other pollutants on the surface of the water.

“We are very pleased to be able to build these products in the Bahamas,” Bradford Marine Bahamas president Paul Engle said in a statement. “Our versatile, practical containment booms can be used to preserve and protect Bahamian waterways, marinas, homes and other places where boats dock.”

Along with the standard design available in 75-foot and 100-foot lengths, custom heights and lengths are available and can be built to suit the location and customer requirements throughout the Bahamas.
