Altima Yachts announced a new cruising yacht, the first in its new Voyager series.

The Altima 68 Voyager motoryacht was designed to be the ideal long-range cruising yacht for couples and families. Bill Prince Yacht Design was responsible for the naval architecture and engineering.

The Voyager 68 can be operated with or without professional crew.  Four staterooms are available below decks, with a fifth private cabin nestled below the aft deck for crew or additional guests.

The Voyager 68 can be tailored to each owner’s performance preferences. At a fast cruising speed of 17 knots the Voyager 68 is expected to burn 88 gallons per hour with twin Caterpillar C-18 ACERT engines.  At a displacement speed of 10.5 knots, the yacht is projected to burn 20 gallons per hour with a range of about 1,200 nautical miles.

Caterpillar C-12 ACERT engines will provide a cruising range at hull speed of as much as 1,800 nautical miles.
