NMMA dealer program returns to Miami showPosted on
The National Marine Manufacturers Association announced that the second annual Dealer Connections program will take place in February at the Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail.
Dealer Connections is an initiative created to bring dealers and manufacturers together to forge new distribution relationships and build business. More than 70 boatbuilders participated during Dealer Connections inaugural year, and the 2012 show, which will run from Feb. 16-20, is opening the program to accessory manufacturers to further its networking reach for dealers.
The Progressive Insurance Miami International Boat Show & Strictly Sail brings together key leaders from across the recreational boating industry, making it the ideal location for Dealer Connections a program that presents a rare opportunity for dealers and manufacturers to position themselves for growth, NMMA president Thom Dammrich said in a statement. Retail new-boat sales are up in 2011 and should continue to improve in 2012. Dealer Connections can help prepare participants to take advantage of increases in consumer spending on boating by forging new business partners.
Dealer Connections is a once-a-year occasion allowing dealers across the nation to meet with top decision makers from the worlds leading brands; schedule meetings with manufacturers with easy-to-use appointment software; find more brands than in any other single location, with more than 2,000 powerboats and sailboats on display; and test-drive brands and models.
