NMMA supports labor bill

Posted on

The National Marine Manufacturers Association is asking its members to support the Workforce Democracy and Fairness Act.

“NMMA has been following this bill for several months and we believe it will correct certain NLRB overreach, such as allowing as few as 10 days for employers to communicate with their employees once a union-organizing election is scheduled,” the NMMA said. ”This legislation would provide much-needed correction to such proposals.”

I’m shocked that the NMMA would take a stand for the 99% of workers on the American marine industry who are NOT union members.
