RBBF partners with online discounter

Posted on

The Recreational Boating & Fishing Foundation announced a new partnership with TightLinz LLC to promote private early access to select sales events for boaters and anglers involved with the organization’s programs.

TightLinz is also supporting the partnership by donating a percentage of all sales to RBFF to help advance its mission to increase participation in the sport.

TightLinz is a private online community that offers all U.S. anglers access to core fishing brands at as much as 70 percent off retail prices. Founded in 2011, TightLinz enables brands to monetize inventory and cross-market to discreet groups of end users.

“We’re pleased to be working with TightLinz to make it easier and more enjoyable for boaters and anglers to gear up and get out on the water,” RBFF president and CEO Frank Peterson said in a statement. “This partnership benefits our existing programs and helps support our ongoing efforts to engage more people in boating and fishing, and aquatic resource conservation.”

RBFF will promote the TightLinz discount opportunities to its nearly 300,000 Anglers’ Legacy Ambassadors and the more than 100,000 members of its Fishington online community on TakeMeFishing.org.
