AMI seeks data for marina survey

Posted on

The Association of Marina Industries is asking marina owners and operators to take AMI’s Financial Benchmark Survey and help build financial information for the industry.

The purpose of the survey is to collect information that marina owners/operators and marina industry investors and lenders can use to compare income and expense ratios or specific dollar amounts. Questions include the number and linear feet of slips, services offered, acreage and square footage of property and buildings and the percentage of total revenue that each revenue stream represents.

The results will be sorted by region and marina type to provide the most refined useful data.

The survey is 22 questions (with several optional questions) and all data collected are confidential and will only be used to develop a statistical profile. Survey participants will receive a free electronic copy of the final report if they provide their e-mail address in the survey.

Data will be collected until June 1.
