Early registration available for SNAME annual meeting

The Society of Naval Architects and Engineers will hold its 2012 Annual Meeting and Expo Oct. 24-26 at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence.

The meeting is a gathering of professionals in naval architecture, marine and ocean engineering and related disciplines. Early registration discounts of as much as $200 are available until Sept. 15.

The event features more than 40 hours of technical sessions, special panel discussions, an exhibit hall with the latest technologies, PE-accredited courses, pre-annual meeting industry training sessions, a student program and daily networking events, including the president’s reception, banquet, president’s luncheon and student and young professional socials.
