Fort Lauderdale boatyard adds online tracking service

Posted on

Foster’s Yacht Services, which does custom yacht refits, interiors, painting, fiberglass fabrication, carpentry and maintenance, created a system that allows yacht owners to track custom work being done on their yachts.

Fort Lauderdale-based Foster’s private, interactive and customized website tracking system, which is updated weekly throughout a project, allows clients to track the progress and schedules on custom work being done on yachts from anywhere in the world from their computers, according to the company.

“Costs are very important right now to owners, captains and crew, so it’s vital that they have a relationship with a service provider that is accountable for everything they do while providing superior service, quality work and competitive pricing,” Foster’s Yacht Services founder and CEO Dennis Foster said in a statement. “Our Web-based tracking tool is unprecedented. It really puts our clients’ minds at ease during a project.”

Foster personally manages every project, overseeing his yacht repair specialists from the company’s location at the Lauderdale Marine Center in Fort Lauderdale. Using his new website tracking system, he is now able to provide regular updates to owners and captains.
