Dealer conference seeks entries for panel discussion

Posted on

The Marine Dealer Conference & Expo is looking for creative innovations with its Best Ideas program.

The program, created to foster and reward dealer-to-dealer learning, is in its fourth year. Boat Trader is sponsoring the panel this year.

A panel of marine industry professionals will review the applications. The dealers who submit the top ideas will be asked to be part of a Best Ideas panel discussion during the conference, which takes place Nov. 11-14 in Orlando, Fla.

Once they’re on the panel, each of the dealers will present their best idea to the audience, explaining how it worked, what they learned and how other dealers can implement it in their own business. A question-and-answer session will follow.

After the presentations, the audience will vote on the best idea. The dealer who submitted that idea will receive the grand prize, an Apple iPad.

All of the ideas submitted for 2012 will be published in an online white paper produced by Boating Industry magazine and distributed free throughout the industry.
