Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Scout Boats, the PowerCat Group, Yanmar America and Tige Boats.
Scout Boats had six of its dealers ranked as Top 100 dealers.
The brand is also represented by the dealer that scooped the top honor of best overall dealer Destin, Fla.-based Legendary Marine in the honors awarded by Boating Industry magazine.

Scout builds sportfishing, fish-and-ski, walkaround, flats and bay boat models ranging from 15 to 35 feet.

The Tarboro, N.C.-based PowerCat Group, builder of World Cat, Glacier Bay and Carolina Cat power catamarans, said Spellmans Marine, Hudsons Outboard and Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales are new dealers for its three brands.
The dealers will carry World Cat models from 25 to 33 feet, Glacier Bay models from 27 to 34 feet and Carolina Cat models from 18 to 23 feet.
Spellmans Marine has Long Island, N.Y., locations in Hampton Bays and Freeport. The family-owned and operated dealership has served the Long Island markets for more than 50 years.
Hudsons Outboard has been serving the Salisbury, Mass., market north of Boston since 1932.
Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales has its main offices in St. Clair Shores, Mich., and branch locations in Charlevoix and Grand Haven, Mich.; Catawba Island, Ohio; and Chicago. Jefferson Beach Yacht Sales has more than 40 years of experience in Great Lakes marine markets.

Yanmar Americas marine engine division added Fibrecon Marine, of Peru, as its newest distributor for commercial and recreational applications.
Fibrecon has dealers throughout Peru involved in the commercial fishing, pleasure craft, material and passenger transport, tourist ferries and oil rig support markets.
A relatively new company, Fibrecon is headed by general manager Hector Zegarra. He is a mechanical engineer who has nearly 20 years of experience with marine and industrial engine manufacturers. Fibrecon sales manager Pablo Gomez has worked for marine engine companies for 30 years.
“We at Yanmar look forward to working with the Fibrecon team. Hector and Pablo are highly respected in the field and have an important customer base,” Yanmar America marine division manager Tom Watson said. “Besides having great technical knowledge and marine business experience, they’re strong believers in a dealer structure with service mechanics, including parts and engine stock.”

Tige Boats said Lighthouse Harbor Marina joined the network of authorized Tige dealerships.
Located on Lake Wallenpaupack in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania, Lighthouse will display the full range of Tige models in its showroom, which also has a pro shop. Lighthouse will provide full service facilities for Tige owners. Through their enjoyment of watersports, the team at Lighthouse is able to provide customers with a knowledgeable and resourceful dealership experience.
A visit to the Tige Boats manufacturing facility in Abilene proved to me that Tige is the premier watersports line we want to represent for eastern Pennsylvania, eastern New York and New Jersey, Lighthouse owner Erik Sonsteby said in a statement. We are very excited to serve all boaters, and especially existing Tige owners in our area.
