Our weekly roundup of dealers and distributors includes news from Scout Boats and Centurion Boats.
Scout Boats recently added eight more dealers — four MarineMax locations on the East Coast, two international dealers and a domestic dealer in two additional states.
The new dealers are:
• Anderson Marine, Madison, Tenn.
• Aqua Marina Yachts Ltd., Herzelyia, Israel
• Beach Marine Boat Sales, Jacksonville Beach, Fla.
• MarineMax Baltimore
• MarineMax Brant Beach, Brant Beach, N.J.
• MarineMax Brick, Brick, N.J.
• MarineMax Maryland, Joppa, Md.
• MarineMax Somers Point, Somers Point, N.J.
• Magnum Marine, Montevideo, Uruguay
“We’re continuing to grow our relationship with MarineMax beyond the stellar representation we have in Florida as well as a concerted effort in aggressively signing new international dealers like Magnum in Uruguay and Aqua Marina Yachts in Israel,” Scout Boats national and international sales manager Alan Lang said in a statement. “The additions in Tennessee and Florida will further help us penetrate those middle U.S. markets.”
Scout builds sportfishing, fish ’n ski, walkaround, flats and bayboat models ranging from 15 to 35 feet.

Centurion Boats said George’s Marine & Sports of Ottawa, Ontario, will join Centurion’s dealer network.
George’s has two retail locations, one in Ottawa on Carp Road and the original store in Eganville, Ontario. Its product lines include boats, snowmobiles and ATVs.
George’s carries manufacturers such as Bayliner, Regal, Tracker, Nitro, Crestliner, Berkshire, Sea-Doo Personal Watercrafts, Ski-Doo, Can-Am ATVs and the recently added Harris Flotebote Pontoon Boats.
“This is an A-plus dealership, an 18,000-square-foot showroom of boats, ATVs, PWC and snowmobiles and an even better sales and service staff,” Centurion regional sales manager Bret Potts said in a statement.
