Actuant announces personnel changes

Actuant Electrical, a segment of Actuant Corp., announced two organizational changes within the global marine and mobile business segment.

Robert Miller, current BEP Marine site leader in New Zealand, will transition back to the United States in the role of Americas business development manager.

“With the aggressive growth plans we are deploying and the rebounding of the U.S. market, the time was right for Robert to take on this important role. His years of experience and knowledge of the products and customer base will be a strong asset for our business segment,” Hans van Nikkelen Kuijper, global business leader for the electrical marine and mobile group, said in a statement.

Jarrod Sagar, who has been with BEP Marine since 1992 and gained extensive product, management and market knowledge during the last 20 years, will replace Miller as site leader in New Zealand. His role will entail management of site operations and sales in the Asia-Pacific region.

“Jarrod has worked his way up from apprentice marine electrician through various roles to upper management within BEP,” van Nikkelen Kuijper said. “His intimate knowledge of the brand, its customers’ needs and his management skills will provide strong leadership and direction to our team in New Zealand.”

“We are making these changes today as we plan for new and innovative product development, continued attention to our customers and profitable growth for our business segment,” van Nikkelen Kuijper added. “Our talent, like that of Robert and Jarrod, is the key to our company’s success.”
