Hacker-Craft showroom opens in South Florida

Posted on

The Hacker Boat Co., builder of the Hacker-Craft brand of all-mahogany boats, opened a showroom in Dania Beach, Fla., just south of the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport.

The new showroom has access to the water for sea trials and is conveniently located off I-95 Exit 23/Griffin Road, east of the Design Center of the Americas.

The showroom can accommodate as many as six boats, initially including the first Tommy Bahama Edition Hacker-Craft and a Neiman Marcus Edition Hacker-Craft.

Hacker Florida operations regional manager Bob Sheer said in a statement that “having a showroom in the ‘yachting capital of the world’ will make it easy for potential customers, from individuals to those seeking yacht tenders, to see our gorgeous boats up close.”

“In the past two years we have sold more boats in Florida than in any other single market, so we decided to capitalize on that trend with the hopes of tapping into existing and future demand,” president and CEO George Badcock said in a statement.
