The National Marine Manufacturers Association is hosting the first U.S. pavilion at the Rio de Janeiro International Boat Show, which takes place April 25-May 2.
Exports to Brazil are on the rise, the NMMA said in a statement. NMMA members will have a cost-effective way to exhibit while being afforded the freedom to network and mingle while having a stand presence at the show.
Exhibiting establishes credibility in the marketplace. The opportunity to talk to prospects face to face offers a more accurate read on the market and is far more valuable than simply attending, the statement said. The registration deadline is Feb. 28.

METS 2013 will celebrate its 25th anniversary this year from Nov. 19-21 at the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre.
The Marine Equipment Trade Show is the world’s largest trade exhibition of equipment, materials and services for the international marine leisure industry. The annual event is organized by Amsterdam RAI in association with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations.
“The atmosphere has been brilliant, with high attendance levels reinforcing the fact that the concept of METS stands firm,” METS domain manager Irene Dros said in a statement. “There could have been no greater vote of confidence for our 25th anniversary event.”
NMMA pavilions at METS offer space for members and nonmembers. Early bird registration opened last month and ends Aug. 16.
