Dr. Shrink adds four states to recycling campaign

Posted on

Shrink-wrap supplier Dr. Shrink is expanding its annual Recycling Run.

The run now covers four new states — Indiana, Minnesota, Ohio and South Dakota — as well as Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin and Ontario, Canada (within 200 miles of Toronto).

The company custom-designed a new website and EZ Fill Bags just for the run. The bags are 40 percent bigger than previous ones and feature a large-mouth opening. This allows users to fit more shrink-wrap into every bag. Each bag costs only $5 to collect, transport, bale and recycle.

Participants must buy the EZ Fill Bags from Dr. Shrink and fill them with shrink-wrap only — no strapping, buckles, vents or other contaminants. Then they fill out a form with their address and request a month for pickup from April until August.

There also are select locations where participants can drop off the bags instead of having a trailer pick them up.
