Company signs deal for commercial marine radio systems

Posted on

Emrise Corp., a defense and aerospace electronic device and communications equipment manufacturer, received a $1 million order for radio frequency systems from an international marine services supplier of electronic systems for identifying and marking shipping channels and marine hazards.

Deliveries are expected late this year through 2014, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The order came from the company’s Pascall Electronics Ltd. subsidiary in England. Pascall provides power systems, RF devices and integrated systems for the marine industry.

Emrise chairman Carmine Oliva said orders for the company’s electronic devices for use in commercial land and marine applications have resulted in important sales to the company’s electronic devices segment in the past.
