Deltaville Boatyard staffers attend Beneteau trainingPosted on
Deltaville (Va.) Boatyard employees Starr Pullman and Neal Hoar recently graduated from the Beneteau Academy.
The academy is a training school established by the boatbuilder to offer educational programs to the sales, technical and managerial teams of its dealer network. The intensive two-day course includes a tour of the Beneteau boatbuilding facilities in Marion, S.C., and attendees learn about repairs of Beneteau boats and systems, maintenance schedules, vendor information and sales points.
“It was a great opportunity and a rich learning experience,” Pullman, project manager for Deltaville Boatyard, said in a statement.
The yard performs repair and maintenance on about 30 Beneteau boats. It also supports Annapolis Yacht Sales in Deltaville, a Beneteau dealer, by coordinating and performing maintenance and repairs on the boats for sale and post-sale.
