NMRA adds new member

Posted on

Marine Medical Systems recently became an affiliate member of the National Marine Representatives Association.

The Connecticut-based company carries medical/pharmaceutical and safety items from more than 200 manufacturers. It is a licensed pharmacy/pharmaceutical wholesaler and licensed medical surgical provider. A specialist in cost-effective marine drugs, the company offers competitive pricing, substantially less than major medical suppliers, the NMRA said.

The company’s emergency medical supplies kit is designed for boat owners to be able to keep emergency medical supplies close at hand for on-board and dockside accidents. It is customized to meet the needs of owners and their boat. Prepared in cooperation with an owner’s physician, it can include prescription and non-prescription drugs. The kit is portable, watertight and constructed from plastic or metal.

Delivering more than 20 years of marine services experience, Marine Medical Systems’ staff is composed of experienced pharmacists, nurses and physicians who have hospital, clinical, military, marine and community-based exposure, the NMRA said. A trained emergency medicine specialist is available for consultation and direction.
