Sail America posted the agenda for the 12th International Sailing Summit on its website.

The event will take place Aug. 18-20 at the St. Francis Yacht Club in San Francisco and is organized by Sail America.

The summit will begin with an afternoon of America’s Cup race viewing and an opening evening reception. A day and a half of seminars and networking opportunities will follow.

Topics will include the state of the industry, next-generation sailors and the future of sailing. Speakers include Frank Savage, of Savage Holdings LLC; Efrem “Skip” Zimbalist III, chairman and CEO of Active Interest Media, which owns Soundings Trade Only; Iain Murray and Stan Honey, of America’s Cup Race Management; and the 2012 Rolex Yachtsman of the Year, Johnny Heineken.

“We’ve put together a great program with the industry’s top names and leaders speaking,” ISS chairman and founder Alistair Murray said in a statement. “The program and location near the America’s Cup home base in the heart of San Francisco will make this a memorable ISS.”
