ABYC and ABBRA schedule webinar on inventory managementPosted on Written by Michael LaBella
The American Boat & Yacht Council and the American Boat Builders & Repairers Association will co-host a webinar titled “Optimizing Inventory” on July 25 from 1-2 p.m. EST.
The webinar will be led by Stephen Bullard, senior sales Director at PierVantage. Bullard has more than 20 years in marine service management, has logged more than 15,000 miles sailing the Atlantic and Pacific oceans and is a 100-ton master captain.
Topics to be covered include inventory management organization; purchasing; parts management; inventory accounting and physical control; and evaluating the inventory management function. There will be a question-and-answer session afterward.
“More than ever, the new economy dictates that inventory management is one of the keys to successful cash flow management,” Ed Sherman, the ABYC’s director of educational programming, said in a statement.
