Nautique increases production and workforcePosted on
Nautique announced that it is increasing production and hiring 50 new employees because of high demand for the G Series, the 2014 product lineup and a continuing expansion of global sales.
The company says demand had steadily increased, but “spiked materially” after the launch of its award-winning 2014 Super Air Nautique G23 and G25. Additionally, Nautique dealers recently viewed the 2014 Nautique product lineup and, based on their reviews, dealer commitment levels are in excess of current capacity.
Lastly, Nautique’s strategic initiatives to develop global markets have resulted in international sales.
Those factors combined resulted in a significant production increase several months ago that generated more than 50 new jobs near the end of 2012 and now require another production increase, resulting in 50 more new jobs at Nautique’s central Florida factory.
“This is an exciting time for our Nautique team. Our new 2013 and 2014 product has been well received by our customers and dealers, resulting in a market share increase both in the U.S. and around the world,” Nautique president and CEO Bill Yeargin said in a statement. “We are thrilled to be adding new members to our incredible team.”
