Correct Craft company opens new watersports parkPosted on
Correct Craft subsidiary Aktion Parks announced its newest park, Miami Watersports Complex, which is on a 90-acre freshwater lake with experienced coaches who provide lessons in wakeboarding, wakesurfing and other watersports of all skill levels.
The complex, located in Miami-Dade County’s Amelia Earhart Park, provides equipment for all lessons and features the award-winning Super Air Nautique G23.
The park has already begun executing plans to expand with two full-size cables to offer more variety for watersports enthusiasts. The site will open fully in 2014.
“Our Aktion team has worked hard with key Miami partners, including Miami Nautique International, to open this park,” Correct Craft president and CEO Bill Yeargin said in a statement.
“It is a great location and will be a premier facility located in one of the world’s most exciting cities. We are excited to expand our cable park investments. MWC, in addition to our other park, Orlando Watersports Complex, is just the beginning of our plans to build more parks and introduce many more people all over the world to the watersports we love.”
