IMBC registration now under way

Posted on

Registration for the International Marina and Boatyard Conference is now open.

Produced by the Association of Marina Industries, the conference will take place Jan. 29-31 at the Greater Fort Lauderdale/Broward County Convention Center in Fort Lauderdale.

Full-conference passes start at $379 and include access to all seminars, roundtables and workshops, entry to the exhibit hall and admission to all networking events.

Seminar topics for the 2014 conference include a boat hoist panel, information on federal permitting and financial strategies for upgrading a marina and a special Clean Marina workshop. For an additional fee, a conference pass includes a field trip, lunch and tours of three area marinas and boatyards.

“We encourage industry professionals to register early to make sure they get a space in IMBC’s special limited-attendance workshops,” AMI chairman Gary Groenewold said in a statement. “Plus, we will be holding a special Clean Marina workshop and reception this year, and we’re adding a new Marina Design and Engineering track. There is so much going on this year it might be hard to choose.”
