IMBC releases details on annual eventPosted on
The Association of Marina Industries released details about its upcoming International Marina and Boatyard Conference, set to take place Jan. 29-31 in Fort Lauderdale.
New additions to IMBC include a marina design and engineering breakout session track, a keynote follow-up roundtable and a best-profits panel. Live new-product demos will be conducted on the exhibit floor.
The group also released details about the conference’s more than 25 educational sessions, special events such as Casino Night and a new “Taste of the Tropics” reception.
For 2014, IMBC will bring back the inland, coastal, and boatyard and service breakout session tracks, interactive workshops and presenter delivery styles created for last year’s event. The field trip, AMI member meeting and first-time attendee reception also will return.
“We produce a preliminary brochure for IMBC to give industry professionals a glimpse of the sessions and events we are planning,” AMI chairman and certified marina manager Gary Groenewold said in a statement. “Prospective attendees can see that the benefits of attending far outweigh the registration and travel costs. IMBC is the place to be if you are in the marina and boatyard industry.”
