Organizers of Yacht and Boat Korea 2013 say exhibitor space is still available for the event, which will take place Nov. 28-Dec. 1 at the Changwon Exhibition and Convention Center in the Gyeongsangnam province of South Korea.

Yacht and Boat Korea will be hosted by Gyeongnam, Changwon and Gyeongnam Technopark and is being organized by GnA International and KNN.

To date, Yacht and Boat Korea has attracted 60 exhibitors from Korea, 10 from Spain, seven from France, four from Australia, two from New Zealand, one from the United Kingdom, one from Poland and one from the United States.

The 2013 event will build on six successful editions of the show, which aims to strike a balance between consumer and business-to-business trade. The main venue is the Changwon center, which has 7,827 square meters of exhibition space.

Attendance at the 2012 show was recorded as 33,570 registered visitors at the Changwon center and about 13,000 people at Jinhaeroo.

About 6,000 visitors participated in the “Get on the Water” program, experiencing for themselves kayaking, paddleboats and other forms of boating.

In 2012, 147 exhibitors attended, 65 of them international. From preliminary reports, business-to-business meetings resulted in contracts valued at $60,647,213 being negotiated.
