South West International Boat Show returns in March

Posted on

The South West International Boat Show, which organizers say is the largest in-water boat show in the region, will return to the South Shore Harbour Marina in Houston for a sixth year in March.

Organizers said the March 27-30 show will again feature a wide selection of boats from 10 to more than 80 feet, including sailboats, motoryachts, powerboats, pontoon boats, cruisers, sportfishing boats, catamarans, bay boats and ski boats.

Organizers said many of the boats will be available for demonstration at the docks. More than 400 boats will be onshore and in the water.

More than 200 vendors will offer services and products for the boating and outdoor lifestyle, including apparel, fishing gear, outdoor kitchens, gifts and jewelry. The Sailing Village will feature sailing-related exhibitors with a full range of marine electronics, products and accessories.

Free seminars for boat show visitors will be offered across the four days of the show at the South Shore Harbour Resort Hotel and will cover a variety of topics.

Show-goers also can sign up with Discover Boating for on-water learning events.
