Larson Boats adds large Northwest dealerPosted on Written by Reagan Haynes
As foreshadowed by Larson Boats co-owner Irwin Jacobs, Larson Boat Group president and CEO Rob Parmentier’s dealer connections might be paying off.
Larson announced a new partnership with Lake Union Sea Ray, which has locations in Seattle, Tacoma and Bellingham, Wash. Lake Union Sea Ray will serve Washington as the area’s Striper dealer.
Jacobs told Trade Only that Parmentier had big plans for building the Larson network.
“He’s got a lot of loyal business out there,” Jacobs told Trade Only Today on Thursday. “We’re already seeing some come our way, dealers who have been one-brand companies for a lot of years. They’re people who want to do business with Rob. You’ll be surprised by some of the names.”
Parmentier became familiar with Sea Ray’s dealer network during his long history with the company, including a stint as president.
“We are very excited to work with Lake Union Sea Ray. Their impressive growth over the years and genuine enthusiasm for their customers closely mirrors Striper’s own goals and values,” Parmentier said in a statement.
