Taylor Made reaches deal with American Boatbuilders AssociationPosted on
Taylor Made Systems said the American Boatbuilders Association designated the company as its preferred supplier of choice for glazing and canvas systems.
The Taylor Made brand will supply items such as windshields, doors, roof systems and hull windows, and its fabric engineering and manufacturing arm, Ameritex Fabric Systems, will supply items such as Bimini tops, T-tops, mooring covers and curtains.
“ABA is pleased to reach an agreement with Taylor Made Systems as the preferred supplier of choice for this wide range of products that are integral to the overall look and functionality of the vessels built by our prestigious group of independent boat manufacturers,” ABA president Jay Patton said. “They have a real desire to lead innovation in their fields of expertise, which is of the utmost importance to our members.”
“We’re proud to be associated with the ABA,” Taylor Made Systems president Allan Petit said. “Our agreement demonstrates how the ABA believes in Taylor Made’s quality products, state-of-the-art design, engineering services and excellent customer support.
