Yacht management and maintenance company Marine Professionals announced the formation of Marine Electronics, a marine electronics and custom audio-visual provider for yacht owners.
Marine Professionals has been providing marine electronics and custom audio-visual installations, as well as yacht maintenance and emergency crisis services, for more than a decade.
Marine Professionals said Marine Electronics’ lead technicians hold advanced certifications from the National Marine Electronics Association and authorized installer certificates from the leading marine electronic manufacturers.
Marine Electronics offers electronic and navigation equipment, custom audio-visual consultation, sales, installation and maintenance.
“We specialize in our proprietary concept ‘The Connected Yacht … Connect, Control, Communicate,’ ” Marine Electronics president Mark Curreri said in a statement. “Owners can feel confident that they are fully connected when on board with Internet and HDTV. They’re also controlling systems and cameras onboard locally and from afar, as well as communicating by phone from anywhere in the world just as if they were at home. The Connected Yacht also incorporates an online software program through The Boat Village to manage the maintenance being performed by the captain or service company. The Connected Yacht allows owners and their maintenance specialists to connect, control and communicate to ensure the best possible user experience.”
For A/V, the company provides personalized consultations with yacht owners to determine their needs with regard to high-definition satellite TV, satellite phones, television placement, streaming video and Internet service.
Marine Professionals said Marine Electronics produces a detailed proposal, by stateroom, for the customer, using cost-effective equipment that emphasizes simplicity. The company has remote access to most components and equipment to address any issues that arise.
The company is a dealer for most marine electronics brands, including Garmin, Raymarine and KVH, as well as A/V companies such as Sonos, DirecTV and Logitech.
