More than 400 boats will be in the water and onshore at the South West International Boat Show, which returns for a sixth year March 27-30 to the South Shore Harbour Marina in Houston.

Organizers said the show will feature sailboats from Jeanneau, Beneteau, Lagoon, J/Boats, Catalina, Dufour, Hanse and Hunter alongside other boats ranging from 10 to more than 80 feet that will include motoryachts, pontoon boats, cruisers, sportfishing boats, catamarans, bay boats and ski boats.

Organizers said two new dealers will add to the selection of boats at the show. West Yachts & Brokerage will bring Marquis, Century and Chris-Craft boats and Plano Marine will bring Jeanneau America Powerboats and Prestige Yachts.

Organizers said the selection of freshwater and saltwater boats, new and used, is the largest in the Southwest.

More than 200 vendors will offer services and products for the boating and outdoor lifestyle, including new product introductions, fishing gear, engines, apparel and outdoor equipment. There also will be a full range of marine electronics, sailing gear, accessories and hardware.

More than 40 free seminars for show visitors will be offered across the four days of the show. They will be held at the South Shore Harbour Resort Hotel and will cover topics ranging from weather and fishing to navigation and cruising, along with showcasing marinas in Mexico presented by the Mexico Tourism Board, which will be exhibiting at the show.

Show-goers can sign up for one of the Discover Boating hands-on skills training workshops. Powerboaters will be able to choose among four one-hour skills-building sessions and sailors can choose among two-hour and three-hour sailing workshops at the show.
