New York Sea Grant seeks students for boat inspectionsPosted on
New York Sea Grant is looking to hire undergraduate and graduate students to serve as launch stewards to inspect boats and educate the public about aquatic invasive species this summer.
The stewards will work at boat launches in Cayuga, Jefferson, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, and Wayne counties, according to the Associated Press.
They’ll be stationed on Oneida Lake and on Lake Ontario between Henderson Harbor and Sodus Bay.
New York Sea Grant is a cooperative program of Cornell University and the State University of New York.
