It has been a long, harsh winter across much of the United States and Canada, but the Larson Boat Group said its winter show sales are up almost 10 percent year over year.

“Our strategy to focus on the brands and models the customers want, along with the expansion of our dealer network, is clearly proving itself at retail,” Larson president and CEO Rob Parmentier said in a statement.

The Minnesota-based company builds the Larson, Triumph and Striper boat brands. The Larson FX freshwater fishing series, the new Larson Escape pontoon line and the Striper saltwater fishing brand have had strong retail activity at boat shows this season, and Larson’s runabouts and cruisers continue to mirror the market, the company said.

“We are very happy with our winter show retail sales activity and excited to see how this momentum takes us into spring and summer selling seasons,” Parmentier said.

interesting that boat sales are pretty flat across the country but their up
well selling 3 boats instead of 2 is a 50% increase but it is still only 1 boat. I guess that’s positive
