VIDEO: Sunseeker superyacht gets a liftPosted on
The superyacht Black Legend is the first Sunseeker 101 Sport Yacht that the British builder has launched.
Sunseeker superyacht sales manager James Hall described the 98-foot yacht as the “natural successor to the legendary Sunseeker 108 Predator” in a report by Boat International.
Sunseeker hosted a “Build Party” in April for the launch of the yacht. It took a year to build.
As their shifts ended, teams from Sunseeker International donned custom “I Built Black Legend” T-shirts and headed to a company-organized waterfront party in Southampton, England, featuring champagne, beer, a huge barbecue and music.
Days later, Sevenstar Yacht Transport loaded Black Legend onto one of its 15 yacht transport vessels for delivery to the owner in Malta.
Using as many as 24 lifting belts, each as much as 2 feet wide, Sevenstar carefully hoisted the yacht aboard, then secured it in its designated spot on deck or in the hold with cradles and lashings.
