NMMA reports boost in wholesale shipments in June

Outboard engine wholesale shipments in the United States were up 6.4 percent in June on a rolling 12-month, year-over-year basis.

The data come from the National Marine Manufacturers Association control group of manufacturers, which represent 95 percent of the market.

Total retail sales based on warranty card registrations were up 7.9 percent on a rolling 12-month, year-over-year basis, rising for the fourth consecutive month.

Increases were spread across all power bands, the NMMA reported, ranging from 0.6 percent to 24.6 percent.
