Regulator Marine president Joan Maxwell announced the appointment of Brian Traylor as vice president of operations.
Traylor’s goal will be to lead growth and refinement in Regulator’s quality and productivity as the company continues to grow and serve its dedicated customer base.
He most recently served as operations director of GlaxoSmithKline’s pharmaceutical manufacturing site in Aiken, S.C.
Traylor also has held manufacturing management positions at Tyco Healthcare and Leisure Time Technology and was a member of an executive start-up team that opened a 1.4 million-square-foot distribution center for Target Corp.
He received an MBA from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
“Brian has a proven track record in quality and manufacturing leadership,” Maxwell said in a statement. “Our success is completely dependent on the quality and safety of the boats we produce. Brian’s leadership, character and demonstrated skill set make him perfectly suited for his new position at Regulator Marine.”
