Nautical Structures named Ron Beilman as global service director and Bill Pratley as U.S. director of aftermarket sales for the Largo, Fla.-based company.

Beilman will be responsible for management and growth strategies for all service operations at the company, including warranty, part sales, planned maintenance, scheduled inspections, and refit and refurbishment of all product lines in the global fleet.

Beilman’s credentials include a 14-year stint with Burger Boat Co., where he was floor manufacturing engineer, group manager of joiner-furniture CAD design, director of new product development and vice president of engineering and interior design. Thirty new-construction yachts and commercial marine vessels were completed during his tenure at Burger.

Most recently, Beilman was technical designer and sustainability consultant for Pro Terra LLC/Clear Group International, where he was responsible for development and initiative launch with USGBC for the Epic Yacht Design Guide and Assessment Program; the concept and development of a 50-meter hybrid-electric Explorer yacht; and the concept and development of a 15-meter hybrid-electric water limo/taxi series for a confidential client.

Pratley’s responsibilities will involve single-point contact for the yacht repair and refit markets in the United States and the Caribbean.

He comes to Nautical Structures after 11 years at Rybovich, where he was project manager prior to overseeing the project management group as director of services, and lastly was account executive for service clients.

At Rybovich, Pratley oversaw more than 300 yacht repair and refit projects annually.

Before Rybovich, Pratley was a service manager for MarineMax, responsible for customer service and technical support for primarily Hatteras yacht owners and captains on Florida’s west coast.
