NMMA plans trade symposium in MiamiPosted on
After Great Britain’s decision to leave the European Union and with a new administration entering the White House on Jan. 20, many are asking, “What’s next for free trade agreements and trade overall?”
To help answer questions, the National Marine Manufacturers Association will hold its first Mini Trade Symposium in Miami from 2-7 p.m. on Feb. 15 to help the recreational boating industry learn what is on the horizon for international trade.
The event will be followed by a networking cocktail reception.
The symposium’s informational sessions include the following topics: what’s next for the negotiation of many trade agreements; the newly formed White House National Trade Council; what it all means for your business; and how to ensure that your company remains compliant and competitive.
The symposium will take place at the Four Seasons Hotel Miami, followed by a cocktail reception hosted in the offices of Robert Allen Law, which has panoramic views of Miami, a few flights up from the symposium.
Registration is $25 for NMMA members and $35 for non-members.
