Riva Yachts has unveiled the Riva 110’, the new flagship of its fiberglass fleet.

The Ferretti Group brand said the 110’ succeeds the 100’ Corsaro as the next-generation model in its restyled flybridge range.

The new maxi yacht is scheduled to debut in the fall. It is a collaboration among Officina Italiana Design, the Strategic Product Committee and the Ferretti Group’s engineering department.

Riva said the new yacht’s hull is now almost 112 feet long and is more than 22 feet wide. The yacht will have twin MTU 16V series 2000 M94 engines, each with 2,638 mhp. With this setup, Riva said, the yacht will reach a cruising speed of 23 knots and a maximum speed of 26 knots.

The exterior design builds on the lines of the 100’ Corsaro. Distinguished by a sporty profile, the hull of the Riva 110’ will have a glass wall and integrated portholes.

On deck, a stretched glass roof extends the entire length of the living area, constructed with panes nestled in a stainless steel frame. A second window surrounds the wide-body master suite as far as the nose of the bow.

As on the Corsaro 100’ and the Ferretti Yachts 850, the stern includes a submersible hatch that features Ferretti’s innovative, patent-pending actuating system.

Riva said the hatch was honored at the 2016 Boat Builder Awards in Amsterdam.
