Vetus Maxwell announces staff promotionsPosted on
Vetus Maxwell said it promoted Chris DeBoy to vice president of sales and marketing, Barry Ebaugh to vice president of finance and operations and Tim Crumrine to sales manager.
The company said DeBoy will focus on managing the sales team and overseeing marketing strategy and execution and will continue to support his current customer base in the southeast United States. DeBoy has served in sales management roles at Vetus Maxwell for more than nine years.
He holds a management information systems degree from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, and worked in the IT industry for 12 years.
Prior to joining Vetus Maxwell, DeBoy was a yacht broker with a premier brokerage firm, helping to establish the company’s Maryland location. He enjoys spending time on the water with his daughter, son and fiancée.
With DeBoy, Ebaugh will co-manage the company’s Hanover, Md., office, focusing on finance and operations, including supply chain, warehouse and customer service management. The Hanover office is responsible for sales and product support for the North, Central, and South American regions of the world.
Ebaugh began his career with Vetus Maxwell as CFO during the summer of 2006, following more than a decade in the environmental remediation industry, where he was a regional finance manager responsible for five offices in the United States.
He has lived and worked in the Mid-Atlantic region his entire life and has been a boater since early childhood. Ebaugh spends a large portion of his free time fishing for a variety of species that inhabit the Mid-Atlantic.
As sales manager, Crumrine will manage all accounts in the territory from the Mid-Atlantic north to New England, in addition to continuing to oversee aftermarket customers, and managing boat shows and assisting DeBoy with marketing strategy and execution.
Crumrine started on the Vetus Maxwell team in customer service and technical support in 2010 before shifting to the sales and marketing team in 2012.
Prior to working at Vetus Maxwell, Crumrine was with USA Services, representing life-raft and inflatable-boat manufacturers. He has also held positions at West Marine.
“Tim has done a great job on the sales team at Vetus and we look forward to his continued success in his new role,” DeBoy said in a statement.
Vetus Maxwell is a wholly owned subsidiary of Vetus B.V in the Netherlands, a Yanmar company.
