Boston Whaler raises money for Florida arts center

Posted on

Boston Whaler recently raised more than $1,200 to benefit the community programs of the Atlantic Center for the Arts.

The money was raised during the Images Art Festival, an annual event held in Edgewater, Fla., through the raffle of two custom art pieces, each featuring a Boston Whaler boat. This spring, representatives from Boston Whaler will present a check to the center in New Smyrna Beach, Fla., for the full amount.

“Boston Whaler is proud to support our local community,” Boston Whaler president Nick Stickler said in a statement. “Events like this are a great reminder of how important it is to give back, and how rewarding it can be to celebrate and strengthen the community together.”

The amount Boston Whaler raised for the community programs will be sufficient to send several children on full scholarship to Summer Art Camp.

“The ACA team deeply appreciates the level of involvement Boston Whaler has had these past few years with Images and our community, raising money to send our kids to Summer Art Camp,” special events coordinator for the center Eve Payor said.
