EdgeWater Power Boats launched the EdgeWater 262CX Deep-V Crossover at the Miami International Boat Show, which wrapped up Monday, and the New England Boat Show, which ended Sunday.

With its deep-vee hull, proprietary EdgeWater Single Piece Infusion construction, high-grade components and twin Yamaha F200 four-stroke outboards, the design of the 262CX was driven by customer feedback and seeks to improve on the 248CX, the company said.

The boat’s new double-wide helm provides increased sightlines through EdgeWater’s new ClearView Windshield. The dash, which features yacht styling, is big enough to accommodate a 16-inch Garmin screen. The helm seat is positioned with ergonomics in mind, sheltered by a new integrated hardtop.

The starboard console holds a head compartment. Inside the port console is a spacious storage compartment with many available options, including racks for wakeboards or dive tanks, EdgeWater said. It also has a standard dive door.

This new model also features a redesigned bow seating area with a double-wide forward-facing lounge with built-in armrests. The forward storage boxes are insulated and have a new design with a remote latch system.

In its spacious cockpit, the 262CX showcases EdgeWater’s new back-to-back lounger, which incorporates an insulated fishbox and offers multiple seating positions.

To starboard, the prep station features various configurations: Standard items include an insulated cooler, cutting board, stainless steel sink and a pull-out premium cooler; options include a grill, refrigerator and cabinet.

There’s a full, transom-width fold-out seat aft and a large transom baitwell.
